about
Hey there! I’m Christina, the creator behind The Morgantown Dish, where I spotlight the best restaurants and things to do across North Central West Virginia and beyond. Think of me as your foodie friend and trusted guide for where to eat next.
The Mission
The Morgantown Dish is all about finding the best in our community. While my content often showcases the bright side, it's driven by a genuine mission to support and celebrate local businesses. To stay authentic, I only share about food and restaurants I truly enjoy.
With over 150 local restaurants in Morgantown, I have a few on my "never-ever" list, but I choose not to share negative experiences. Instead, I focus on highlighting the incredible dining spots that make our community special.
I hope you enjoy following along as much as I enjoy tasting everything.

Most of the time, no! I want my photos to be as authentic as possible, including how the food arrives on the plate. However, if I’ve built a rapport with a restaurant or if they reach out, I will take gifted meals by invite or let them know I am on my way.
-
Most of the time it’s by the seat of my pants. However, if there’s an influx of new restaurants or I am writing for the local paper, I will plan ahead for the next 2-3 restaurants.
Most of the time, I might be with friends, or running errands. There are so many restaurants to try - you tell me!

Yes, please! Send me a DM on Instagram with your suggested restaurant, or join the Foodie Talk Facebook Group and give a shout out. I also poll the Facebook group monthly, for example, to find out where the best burger in town is.

The majority of my reviews are based on my tastes alone. However, I will take partnerships with local organizations or larger chains. I will always disclose if something is a paid partnership in an obvious manner. If I do not like the product, event, or food, it will not be posted.
